Cabart Bass Oboe

These photos are of a difficult to find Cabart Bass oboe. It is very difficult to find out much information regarding bass oboes. I thought I would provide some photos. Hopefully you will find them interesting and helpful. This bass oboe came with an english horn type bocal. I am not certain if it is original. Manufactured Circa 1920. It has a saxophone type keying and has an Eb pitch. The length is 38.75" without bocal, 41.5" with bocal.
