Opportunities
Lingerie Models. I am photographing lingerie for a distributor
Beach Models. I have a Yamaha jet boat and need models for a variety of beach projects.
Conventional models for headshots, fashion, swimwear, editorial, art, etc.
Figure models. I am looking for models of all shapes and sizes. This can be done anonymously if the model wishes. For example, I have Mardis Gras masks available for anonymous shoots.
Private Commission
This is a total confidential shoot and the photos are never published. Prices vary.
Modeling Requirements
Experience is not necessary. I am a serious photographer and I need serious models.
Height-weight proportional helps, but I often use and prefer "non-traditional" models.
Reliable & prompt
Age 18 or older
Compensation
Compensation depends on my project and the models looks, experience, portfolio. Compensation can include DVD's of the images, prints, a gallery on my website, a Complete Personal website and/or Cash.
Tips for a Successful New Model
Answer your own email & calls. Skip any unlicensed "manager". Most photographers will not even contact models with internet "managers".
Return calls & emails promptly. Calling shows you are serious. Don't be afraid to call. Most of the world still does business over the phone.
Expect email from weirdo's when you first open your portfolio. It will soon taper off.
Check portfolios and references of prospective photographers. Know who you are shooting with. Take a friend to any new shoot
The Shoot
Generally a shoot lasts about two-three hours. I tend to shoot in a relaxed and friendly manner and welcome suggestions from the model. I usally shoot from home where I have a large air-conditioned space with my backdrops, computers and lights already set up the way I need them. If we are going to shoot at your location, you need a long space and we can discuss specifics when setting up a shoot.
If you feel the need to bring someone to the shoot with you, that's Ok. Regretfully, if the escort becomes a distraction to either the model or me, I'll have to end the shoot. So please chose who you bring to the shoot carefully. Remember, it's best to bring someone who you are comfortable posing in front of and who is comfortable with you modeling.
